Lessons can help students build confidence, prepare for auditions and gain recognised qualifications following the accredited LAMDA syllabus.
One-to-one coaching allows students to receive a personalised experience and individual guidance every step of the way. It allows for them to have their skills honed on an individual basis.
⭐️ Acting ⭐️
Acting sessions focus on developing a strong speaking voice and confidence performing monologues. Students will be encouraged to explore their imagination and get creative by working on the characterisation and interpretation of the text as well as vocal technique and stage direction.
⭐️ Speaking Verse and Prose ⭐️
Verse and Prose sessions focus on developing a strong speaking voice, storytelling and memory skills whilst looking at Poetry and Prose text. These sessions will focus on delivery of speech, diction, articulation, expression and Interpretation as well as the form, structure and language of text.
GROUP SESSIONS
Students can also choose to take sessions in pairs and with some syllabuses they can be entered for an exam together.
WHO IS LAMDA?
LAMDA (London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art) exams are accredited by the government and as such are worth Credits and UCAS points, useful for University and College applications.
Students can choose to focus on Acting or Verse and Prose in their sessions.
LAMDA sessions strive to achieve better world wide communication in students, working on pronunciation and diction, having a positive impact on students general literacy skills at school and increasing their speaking skills which will aid them later on in life when interviewing for jobs courses and work experience.
Lessons with Kirsty will also encourage students to explore their imaginations and get creative by working on the characterisation and understanding of text.
Kirsty Richings Drama provides a unique and highly personalised method of learning, creating an environment to nurture, educate and encourage creative individuals to achieve the highest level of success.

A special shout out to student Mahin who passed his Grade 6 Bronze Verse and Prose exam with an impressive mark of 97%! Absolutely outstanding result!

EXCITING NEWS!

I am really excited to announce that alongside the students who come to the studio on a weekly basis for lessons, I have accepted a position to teach LAMDA at both The Oratory and The Oratory Prep School from this September!
Thank you to Clare at LoveLamda for this wonderful opportunity. I am really looking forward to getting started and to continue making excellent progress with your students.

I am so proud to say that this morning I received results from the Summer 2021 LAMDA exams and every single student passed with distinction. 9 students in total from the studio and from Stagecoach Performing Arts in Faringdon. Proud teacher alert! Certificate pics to follow, watch this space!

STUDIO RE-OPENING!

After the PM's announcement tonight, I am pleased to announce that (provided all is well) I will be re-opening the doors to my studio on Monday 12th April!
I am so grateful that I have been able to operate on Zoom over these unprecedented times but I really look forward to seeing you all face-to-face and back in the studio very soon!

So proud of my students from Stagecoach Performing Arts in Faringdon ALL passing with Distinctions in their online LAMDA exam last week. These Acting exams ranged from Grade 1 all the way to Grade 6 Bronze level.

Kirsty is very professional in her approach. She has a lovely manner with the children encouraging them to think independently whilst at the same time gently guiding them to achieve their potential in their chosen area. She is patient, reliable and remarkably organised. She always has a smile on her face and motivates the children to work harder. She adds a touch of humour to the lessons which the children do value. It's pleasure to work with her.
